Top SEO Strategies for Small Businesses to Compete with Large Brands

A small business needs to utilise this as much as they can to be able to compete with big brands online. There are a number of ways small businesses can compete with bigger rivals;

-       Focus on local – targeting a local market can help out with the way your business is portrayed in search results.

-       Develop a niche and focus on it – you can’t compete with all business areas of big companies so focus on a small area that you do well, and your bigger competitors don’t do quite so well. Then, work really hard on becoming the key player in that area.

-       Long tail keyword strategy – Focus on the less common keywords that have high volumes of searches and are difficult to rank for. Example of this would be rather that “coat” you could label it “winter waterproof coat guide” as a keyword to be found for.

-       Get involved locally – use it as part of content marketing showing that you are involved with the local community.

By 2027, it’s forecast to reach 2.3 trillion.  ·       Ireland now serves as the European headquarters for Apple Pay and Google Pay.   Benefits of digital payments: 1.       Expand range of products/services people that can buy or have access to. 2.       Save costs through tighter efficiency. 3.       Transparent and secure online and offli...
